Every flight we do for you is a bespoke charter with a unique combination of aircraft, airports and times. Each flight therefore is individually priced. There are some examples here (timings, exchange rates and other factors cause variations) showing average prices. Often these can be significantly reduced. Speak to our Flight Managers, let us know your requirements and we will provide a fast track quote within minutes.

As a preferential customer on your behalf we routinely attract discounts of up to 10% from aircraft operators. Aviastra sets its commission below this, typically half in fact, offering distinct total cost reductions. At the same time you retain all the advantages - a bias towards exactly what you need selected from a worldwide resource rather than a specific fleet or location.
The quoted price for your flight will be a single price; everything is included (very large jets sometimes calculate satellite phone and catering charges after the flight).
Remember, this guide is for your interest and because it's often good to know how prices are constructed. We only receive a single quoted price and so do you. However, years of experience in charter flying gives us first-hand knowledge of how costs are calculated.
All operators use slightly different methods but the results are similar. This description is standard across the industry.
The flight itself is charged per mile and per hour. It seems strange at first but this accounts for fuel costs, maintenance and the slightly quirky way that international Air Traffic Services are priced. Add to this the cost of crew and usually a small standing charge and you have the basic price.
Empty Sectors
Charter Aircraft usually operate from fixed bases and will often have to fly empty to or from your own places of departure and arrival. These flights must be covered as they are flown on your behalf but they are charged at cost. One way flights are less than return but not by as much as a half.
The key is to utilise the aircraft as much as possible; its full route and full capacity. Aviastra Flight Managers are very adept at selecting operator locations to minimise these costs. We can also offer you empty legs flown on other charters at hugely reduced prices. They may not be the exact route or time that you requested but the savings are very considerable.
Overnight Costs and Down Days
Aircraft staying with you overnight will of course require a small surcharge for the accommodation of the crew and small parking charges. Staying on the ground for entire days attracts a standing charge per day. Working out the best combination of operators, aircraft staying with you or running separate flights can be complex but don't worry - it's what we do! We will always work out the most advantageous itinerary for you.
Airport Timing
Some larger airports actually have a rush-hour for which they charge a premium. We will let you know if this is the case and you might choose to modify your timing to account for it. Aircraft movements out of hours also attract surcharges, this is legally required to ensure that you have the full complement of airport safety and service facilities.
Generally all charter flights are zero rated for VAT, a great advantage for private clients. The flight must cross a national boundary and be in an aircraft having more than ten seats including the crew. Fortunately many aircraft have their original seating design reconfigured for fewer seats and even greater comfort but the VAT zero rating still applies.
The few very small jets and air taxis, and most helicopters, if staying within national boundaries are standard rated for VAT. Of course often our clients claim this back in their business returns and we provide full VAT invoices to make this a simple task.
